One of the unique eating and drinking vessels that unite most of the Asian
culinary communities is the tea bowl, or Chawan in Japanese. It literally
means "tea bowl". It originated from China and brought back to Japan
by Buddhist monks in the 13th century.

Transformation Ochawan”, invited community members and friends
to transform standard Ochawan into unique individual statements.
“Paint it, collage it, break it, or add other elements or do whatever
